After a retired nurse gets diagnosed with cancer, he needs to reclaim control over his anatomy by challenging himself to compete in high endurance bike events around the world. Chris Edgerton is a man who, after being confronted with death in 2017, had set out to ride across America before he was no longer able to. He became lost after completing his hubristic objective and has now decided to accomplish the toughest rides all across the globe, all in the name of charity. Although Chris is competing against other athletes, his biggest enemy is himself as he has to push past the numerous psychological barriers of these intense challenges. Chris must overcome his own physical limitations, while battling Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia, WM, in order to survive 24-hour bike rides, another ride across America, and much more.

Adam Bowman
DIRECTOR/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Adam was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and has recently graduated from the Bachelor of Film and Media Production program at Humber with honors. He has been directing short documentaries for the past four years now and is eager to expand on his competencies through a complete feature film. Adam and Julian have been successful collaborators since they met in film school four years ago and plan to be long term partners in production.

Julian Orzel
CINEMATOGRAPHER/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Julian was born in Ottawa, Canada and has recently graduated from the Bachelor of Film and Media Production program at Humber with honors. During his education, he pursued lead creative production roles on two short documentary projects. He has a deep passion for cinematography and color grading, using the same principles and workflows as industry professionals many years his senior. Life with Edge will be Julian’s first feature length film.
